Dear John,
     I wonder if I could borrow your Chinese-English Dictionary for a few days. I am translating some important articles at the moment. There are many new words which I have to look up in the dictionary. My own dictionary is not as good as yours, which I think can help me more with on my translation work. I promise I will be very careful of your dictionary and make no damage on it.
