     More and more problems have arisen along with the development of the world. Nowadays among them, the most serious one is probably the issue of environmental protection, such as silent spring, greenhouse effect, and deforestation. Therefore, more attention should be paid to environmental protection.
     There are many things that we can do to protect environment, such as fighting against various kinds of pollution and eliminating deforestation. We may have to increase our awareness of the importance of environmental protection, develop new non-pollutant fuels and materials, invent new things to replace those pollutants, and try new ways to reduce or eliminate pollution. And the benefits of the environmental protection are obvious. First, the world will be safer, and more beautiful than ever. Second, people will be living more healthily in a fresher world. And the most important point is that the whole world will achieve a "sustainable development" in an ecologically convenient environment.
     In a word, environmental protection is a crucial task of the contemporary world. More and more people are aware of it and are devoted to it. I believe, as long as we pay enough attention to environmental protection and make enough efforts, the world will inevitably become a better place to live in.
