    With the development of society as well as subdivision of labor market, we have more chances to work together with others. Accordingly, good co-workers are more desired than before. I have found the following characteristics common in good co-workers.
    A good co-worker is very cooperative. He always tries his best to get along with others by keeping his end of things flowing smoothly to help others in the office. He realizes that if one person doesn’t get his work done, it can hold up everyone else. A good co-worker is adaptable. He is not stubborn about changes in schedules or routines, and doesn’t object to having her job description revised. A good co-worker is helpful. He pitches in when someone falls behind in his or her work. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. He doesn’t mind working extra hours as long as others need him. A good co-worker is a sympathetic listener, and never uses what he learns against people.
    In a word, a good colleague always takes the interest of the company or team as an important consideration. He is definite to gain respect from others in return.
