Mr. Obama is also expected to meet with Republic of Korea President Lee Myungbak. They are to discuss a free trade agreement between the United States and Republic of Korea. Mr. Obama arrived in Republic of Korea after a visit to China. In Beijing, he met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. Both sides declared they want closer relations on economic issues, climate change, and other concerns. But neither President Obama nor Chinese leaders announced any detailed plan of action.
