Secondly, jail sentence has no benefit in helping cheaters realize their errors and show repentance; instead, it may cast a devastating shadow on the their future life. Cheating, in essence, is a mistake but not a crime. Those who cheat on exams may not necessarily cause damage to society, and some do it only out of spur or ignorance. If we put cheaters into jail, it will cause unnecessary side-effects.
    In conclusion, exam cheaters should be punished in an appropriate manner. Instead of putting them into jail, we should choose education as a more reasonable and effective way to help them.
