    It is very hard to see any advertisement or promotion about cigarettes. Still, cigarettes manage to find their way to teenagers. At their tender age, teenagers might be tempted by the illusion that smoking is cool. That is mainly why more and more teenagers develop a habit of smoking.
    The major consequence of teenage smoking is the harmful impact on health. As is known to all, smoking is the major cause of lung cancer and many other respiratory diseases. Once developed, the smoking habit is addictive and hard to get rid of. This means those young smokers will have a longer smoking history than those adult smokers and are more prone to smoking-induced illnesses. In addition to this, we should be aware that the lung is a delicate organ. When it is impaired, it is hardly reversible. No magic remedy could offset the effect of Nicotine, a deadly poison to the lung.
    In conclusion, teenagers should be warned about the health hazard caused by smoking and they shall not develop the habit of smoking simply because it is "cool" or "awesome". What is really awesome is a healthy life.
