    Nowadays almost everyone gets familiar with Internet as computers become more and more popular in our families and offices. Internet provides a short cut, which enables you to contact with the whole world. If a computer is interconnected with Internet, you will go into a gallery full of information and get them quickly. If a company makes full use of Internet, it can get commercial information quickly so as to make the business successful. If a university gets their computers interconnected with the Internet, scholars can trace the program of advanced science and technology, and students, who might have to spend much more time in library, can get the materials quickly, ff you have your own computer on Internet, you can contact with your friends through E - mail and chatting about everything with the people everywhere on earth in BBS.
    On the other hand, some people are indulged in it and they spend enormous time on Internet even without sleeping for several days. Furthermore, due to lack of supervision on Internet, a lot of unhealthy information appears on Internet. If the government does not take measures, the side effect will also do harm to the society.
    From my point of view, everything has two sides. We should make use of Internet properly to serve our purposes. Don’t be indulged in it, otherwise it will cost you too much time, money and energy. Anyway, there is no doubt that Internet has a great impact on our s0ciety, and as information technology makes progress, Internet will play a more important role in the future.
