    The picture embodies the seniors’ anxiety towards the rapid development of technology. Reasons accounting for this phenomenon are various. For one thing, the elderly gradually lose confidence in learning new things since their memory no longer serves them well. For another, children of some elderly people lack patience in teaching them how to use modern technological facilities. Hence, the impatience and detestation of the young discourage the grey’s enthusiasm even more.
    The elders’ anxiety about technological products not only affects their own quality of life, but also adds burdens to their children. Therefore, some measures are needed to help the elderly. First and foremost, the aged should hold a belief that it is never too old to learn and thus keep an insatiable desire for new things.
