    Car sharing refers to the phenomenon that people following the same route share one car when they go to work or take a trip. People’s views on car sharing vary from person to person, and some people hold that it is of great benefit to them. First, car sharing, which leads to reduction of car use, is friendly to the environment. Second, as the travel expenses are shared by several people, the cost for each person will be reduced considerably.
    However, everything has its advantages and disadvantages and some people insist that the disadvantages edge out.
    Car sharing may waste passengers’ time because not all of them have exactly the same schedule and they have to make compromises. What’s more, the rights of passengers can’t be guaranteed because only oral agreement exists between drivers and passengers.
    Personally, I go along with car sharing. It is not only favorable to passengers but also to the environment, and I sincerely hope that laws and regulations relative to car sharing can be formulated and perfected.
