    In recent years, people have paid more attention to technology development. It turns a new chapter of modern society in China and will have far-reaching effects in the forthcoming years. However, technology is just like a double-edged sword.
    The biggest benefit of technology is that it enables us to exploit renewable resources such as solar power and wind power, and to purify polluted air and water. Apart from the benefits mentioned above, we should also face several unavoidable challenges. First, with the development of technology, more and more factories appears, which results in air pollution and water pollution. Second, greenhouse gases would cause global warming. Scientists predicted that more extreme weather will happen with global warming, including high temperature, rainstorm, sandstorm and so on. Moreover, the development of technology means consuming more non-renewable resources , such as forests and minerals, which could lead to resources shortage.
    To conclude, with the development of technology, we may enjoy more benefits of it and at the same time, we may also suffer from more damage of it. But we should kept one point in mind: make rational use of technology and become its masters, not its slaves.
