答案                      The Chinese Spring Festival
    No one knows exactly when the Spring Festival in China began, but it has been observed for centuries. It usually falls late in January or early in February according to Chinese lunar calendar. Because it is in the wintertime, people can enjoy the wonderful scenes of snow during the festival.
    People usually start preparing for the festival a month before. Almost immediately after the New Year’s Day, they begin to prepare delicious food, clean and decorate their houses. On the Eve of the festival, the whole family get together for a big dinner. They stay up to eat Jiaozi at midnight for good luck and health.
    In the past, people like the Spring Festival because it could bring them new clothes, new shoes, delicious food and holidays. But now people are no longer excited over it. Every day is like a festival to Chinese. The living standard of the Chinese people is becoming higher and higher.
