    So far as living in a large city or a small town or village is concerned, it varies from people to people. Some choose to live in a large city and some prefer living in a small town or village.
    Of course, there are some reasons for those who prefer living in a large city. First, they think living in a large city is much more modern than living in a town or village because there are lots of skyscrapers, tree-lined streets and big department stores. Second, they think that shops, schools and hospitals in a large city make it convenient to live in a large city.
    However, there are some people who don’t agree to file idea of living in a large city. They argue there are many disadvantages of living in a large city. For example, a large city is very noisy and crowded. And what’s more, the air there can’t be clean because it is polluted. According to them, a small town or village is a better place for living, for its quiet surrounding and clean air are good for our health.
    As for me, I agree with those who prefer living in a small town. Though living in a large city is more convenient than living in a small town, the life in a small town should be happier because we are closer to the nature where we can see all kinds of plants and can hear birds sing, which are rare in a large city. And with the fresh air we are sure to be much healthier. Therefore, I would rather live in a small town than live in a large city.
