    Nowadays, many job seekers with good appearance but lower abilities can still get decent jobs. Based on this fact, some people draw a conclusion that good appearance is more important than capability.
    However, I don’t agree with this point. Good appearance is certainly an advantage, but it will not surpass capability in the long run. First, a good-looking face may help you get a good job, but it is only the ability to fulfill the job requirements that secures you to the job. Second, physical beauty disappears little by little as time goes on, while one’s capability can get improved if one keeps on learning. Therefore the good look at present does not guarantee one’s future success, while one’s ever improving abilities will prove a foundation for a successful career.
    In one word, I believe capability is more important than good appearance.
