    Everybody needs friends. Just as Abraham Lincoln put it, the better part of one’s life consists of his friendships. In order to lead a happy and fulfilling life, we can’t neglect the importance of real friends.
    Different people have different opinions on roles of friends. Some people expect their friends to guide and lead them like a mentor. Others expect their friends to share the glory and burden like families. Still others hope that friends can help them to relax and bring them more enjoyment. Friends seem to be capable of any parts.
    As for me, I think there is no ideal friend out there ready to wait for us. We need to look for them, communicate with them and get ready to accept an imperfect friend. Also we should be conscious that we cannot expect too much from a friend. Only after we have recognized the above points can we get real and lasting friends.
