Chinese and Russian national Olympic committees reached an agreement to help each other surpass the Americans’ medal count at the 2008 Beijing Games.
    Russian Olympic Committee chief Leonid Tyagachev said the two countries should unite their efforts and knowledge to achieve better results in swimming and track and field.
