答案    Since childhood, I always like to put off things to the last moment, whether homework or housework. For this I have been urged, blamed, or scolded, once and again. "Don’t put off till tomorrow what should be done today," my parents and teachers often say. Pitifully, however, I let them down. Worse still, it is not just me; it seems I am just one soldier of a grand army.
   Common as it is, delaying intentionally and habitually turns out to be rather harmful. First of all, it ruins the notion of punctuality, a virtue of modern civilization. Let me explain, if we put things off, chances are good that we often fail to meet the deadline. Secondly, the quality of our work may suffer. With deadline approaching, people will rush to get the work done; usually more haste, less speed, not to mention quality.
   "Better act now than later", I shouted to myself and the whole legion. Otherwise, we are not just harming ourselves, but also hurting those who care about us.
