答案    When asked what they are after in their life, many young people tend to reply readily that happiness is an important, if not the only, goal in life. Though different people may have different interpretations of happiness based on their own life experiences, I would like to voice my opinion as to what contributes to happiness as a college student.
   Most importantly we need to have a realistic target in life whatever profession we choose to go in for. While the importance of a target for our career is easy to understand, I, for one, emphasize the realism of the target. For this, we should have a clear picture of ourselves, which, unfortunately, often proves to be a much harder job than it seems to be. An over-assessment of our own competence often results in too high a life target, a causal factor behind disappointment or even frustration for many young people.
   A realistic target does not ensure happiness unless we make efforts to realize it. There is much in the saying that happiness lies in the pursuit of the goal. Not a few people have one goal after another in their life, but their lofty ambitions bring them nothing but unhappiness because they never really start to turn their ambitions into reality. These people never have the chance to experience happiness because they are never ready to face and overcome hardships inherent in the process of pursuing a life target. A strong-willed person, however, always finds enjoyment in conquering difficulties.
   As the puts; air of a realistic target is never a lone flight, the right way to get along with the people around us is another major contribution to happiness. As social animals, we human beings inevitably depend on each other for a decent existence. While we go out of our way to make others happy, we are greatly rewarded by the happiness we feel ourselves. This, in turn, ensures a pleasant society for all those who live in it. We can hardly imagine a society where a few citizens can enjoy a real happy life while the majority of the people in it lead a miserable existence.
   To sum up, we should be clear enough about what we want to achieve and take measures to get it in collaboration with our colleagues. In this way we shall be able to live a happy life and thus bring happiness to the people around us.
