    Jesus told us that "it is more blessed to give than to receive". The meaning of life is giving, but not receiving. When you were bom, you were unclothed and there were nothing with you. You can’t grow up well without the love from your parents and the whole society. I can’t agree more that it is better to give than to receive for giving is a wonderful thing.
    First of all, giving is one of the most valuable ways to establish interpersonal relationship. If you just focus on what you can take and give nothing, then your relationship with others will become bad and none of your family or friends will feel a thread of warmth from you; while if you extend your hands and your favor to those who badly need it, you will win the respect from others through your kindness. Thus when you encounter difficulties one day, others will surely spare no efforts to help you through. Based on this, giving is actually a win-win strategy.
    Giving is a kind of good deed and can make your life more meaningful, through which you can deeply sense the true value of your life. Giving sometimes is a tiny thing that may cost absolutely nothing. For example, giving a smile to your classmates or workmates every day; giving a hand when someone is in trouble; helping the blind cross the street; writing to your friend who is studying abroad, etc. All of these are very tiny things for us to do, but for the people who receive them, they are wonderful gifts from the heaven.
    In addition, the amazing thing about giving is that when you are giving, you are actually receiving at the same time. You are receiving a sense of self-fulfillment and the respect from others. Nothing can compare with the sense of satisfaction you get when you know you’ve helped someone else. And sometimes, your giving can make the world different and even change someone’s life. That is why when you help someone out of his setbacks, you will feel happy from the bottom of your heart. Actually in this process you are receiving all the time.
    All in all, giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin, while giving is the premise of receiving. Anyone who is willing to give today, I suppose, will definitely receive double in the future, simply because what goes around comes around!
