   College Entrance Examination: A Necessary Evil
   You are to write in three parts:
   In the first part, state clearly your viewpoint on the issue.
   In the second part, support your viewpoint with details or examples.
   In the last part, bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or a summary.
   Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriacy. Failure to follow the instructions may result in a loss of marks.

答案                      Why Should We Carry Out Quality Education ?

     Compared with the traditional exam-oriented education, the quality-oriented education is expected to pro mote the students’ all-round development. That’s why this new teaching pattern should be carried out.
     The advantages of quality education are quite obvious. First, it lessens the students’ pressure. Students used to suffer a heavy pressure which comes from demanding parents and teachers, endless homework and formidable exams. Cramming method of teaching is found popular, which is certainly not efficient in the long run. Second, it offers the students more spare time for their real interest. Students used to be told not to spend much time on their own likings. They were supposed to concentrate on nothing but text books. Nowadays, thanks to quality education, the students’ horizon is greatly broadened.
     As a result of quality education, students are becoming more and more capable and creative. And that’s just what our society really calls for.
