问题     At present, many universities and colleges have adopted an internship system, requiring students to undergo on-the-spot training before graduation. Some welcome this system by claiming it may help them to practise what they have learnt at school, while others think differently. What is your point of view?
    Write a composition of about 200 words on the following topic : On the Internship System for College Students

    Nowadays, it is not uncommon that college students are required to have experience of internship in factories, companies or other places of work related to their major during their four years of academic study. In my view, I favor this system because it helps in the choice of the students’ future careers.
    The internship system will train the students in many ways. It may help students relate the book knowledge they have acquired at school to the social practice the society may need, and thus the students may have a clearer objective to pursue in later study. It also provides an opportunity for students to take a look at the realities and to understand how to choose their jobs most suitable for them in the future. Through the on-the-spot training, students can learn more about the highly competitive society other than the small classrooms or quiet campus and provide in-depth knowledge on how to get along with other people. By receiving on-the-spot training, their interpersonal skills will be improved and their visions be broadened.
    To sum up, the internship system not only helps the students develop their careers, but also helps to enhance their competitiveness and competence in the job market. Meanwhile, students have the opportunity for easier access to the outside world.
