    The New Year Holiday is drawing near but you have to stay at school because your hometown is far away from the city where you are studying. Write a note to your classmate Lily, who is in the same situation, inviting her to spend the holiday with you and telling her your plans for the holiday.

    How are you going to spend the New Year Holiday this year? I am not going home and I wonder if we can work out a plan and spend the holiday together. We can go shopping, go and watch the fireworks show at Tian’anmen Square, or maybe spend one day or two visiting another city nearby. What do you think? Please let me know whether you have a plan of your own.
