    Paul, your English teacher from Australia, has asked you to help his son with his Chinese courses on Saturday. But you have to put it off to next week because you’re preparing for an important job interview. Write a note to apologize and explain why you are not able to tutor his son this Saturday.
    Marks will be awarded for content, organization, language and appropriateness.

Dear Paul,
    I’m afraid I can’t tutor your son on Saturday and have to put it off to next week. I’m really sorry for that. Just after we made the appointment, I was informed that my interview with IBM was scheduled on Saturday. You know it’s not easy to get a job due to the economic recession and it’s really a hard-won opportunity which I can’t afford to miss. I’d just like to apologize again for not being able to go.
