                            The Journey

                    It started as a newfound independence
                    We were gradually gaining knowledge and friends
                    New doors opening
                    Guiding each person toward completion of a degree
                    Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate
                    A constant continuation on the journey we call life
                    Many interviews and opportunities of a lifetime
                    As one door opens another closes behind us
                    Life goes on
                    We continue on the journey

答案     This little poem describes the life after being independent with simple and thought-provoking words. This journey starts with a newfound independence while we are gaining knowledge and friends of our life. We are faced with new doors constantly and completion of a degree means a new opportunity. Once we make a decision, whether continuing further study or looking for a job, we can never go back because as one door opens another closes behind us. Life is always moving forward and we have no option but to continue on the journey of life.
    After reading this poem, I have a feeling that it is just written for young people struggling for life. We are no longer under the wings of our parents and we have to make decisions all by ourselves. Youth is a period full of passion and enthusiasm, but it is also full of confusion and complexity. We are new in the society and we have to be responsible for our behavior. The journey of life just begins and we have to learn to obey its rules. So being growing up and mature is painful, but it is a necessary journey.
