         This graph shows the children’ s overweight problem in the U.S.As we can see from the graph, the percentage of overweight children aged from 6 to 11 has increased sharply in the past three decades.In the early 1970s, only 4% of the children had overweight problem, but the number nearly doubled in the late 1970s.And by the end of 2002, the percentage had reached 16% , four times that in 1974.We can also find that the increasing trend is still on its way.
         To solve the overweight problem, parents should ask their children to eat less high-calorie food and do more exercise, or the problem will become even severer.
