President Obama has praised the heroism that ended the shooting spree by a US Army major on Thursday at a military base in Texas. Major Nadal Malik Hasan was shot and wounded by a local police officer after killing 12 soldiers and one civilian. In his weekly address, Mr. Obama paid tribute to the soldiers who went to the aid of the wounded.
