    Such is human nature that men are prone to enjoy the convenience of modem technology. The case is true with mass blessing messages which are taking the place of paying a personal visit, sending a card or giving a call. During festivals,major or minor,our cell phones are flooded with mass blessing messages , many of which are identical in contents and only diverse in the senders. It is no doubt that every one among us has sent mass blessing messages on one occasion or another.
    A number of factors can be attributed to this phenomenon. First and foremost, the vast circle of friends has made it impossible for us to preserve the traditional ways of sending festival blessings. Thus, with the help of modem technology such as cell phones, we are able to reach friends regardless of the distance. Furthermore, some of us are so accustomed to following others’ suit tihat they’re reluctant to produce their genuine messages. Consequently, the lack of genuineness deprives the mass blessing messages of their well-intended blessings and good wishes. To make the matters worse, once received, many of these messages are regarded as a trial rather than a blessing by people seeking for individuality.
    In my point of view, the problem of mass blessing messages lies in the lack of creativity. It’s still an efficient and economical way to send good wishes by cell phones. However, only when people start to write the messages on their own can they cease to be treated as nuisance and convey the blessings with them.
