   From Winston Churchill’s remark "To improve is to changes to be perfect is to change often," we can immediately note that change is of utmost importance for us to make progress.
   It is universally acknowledged that the only unchangeable thing in the world is change itself. The world is constantly changing. So is our perception of the world. In order to keep up with the times, we are obliged to make changes accordingly. A case in point is the mobile phone makers Apple and Nokia. When Apple was trying to capture the users’ attention with elaborate designs and varied applications, Nokia was still boasting of the durability of its products, possibly the only strength. The result is that Apple’s products have become the bestseller while Nokia is struggling to make improvement. And it turns out that Nokia is doing a better job after realizing the significance of change.
   To sum up, it is the prerequisite of social and individual development to make constant and considerable changes. Without the driving force of changes, the world would be monotonous and human beings would soon perish. Thankfully, the world is never lacking in great minds embracing changes. That’s why human beings have been making remarkable progress.
