    As we know, Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is thought to be the most important aspect to evaluate a person all the time. A person with high IQ has usually been regarded as a success. That is to say, much more importance is attached to IQ in the past decade years. Of course, IQ is necessary and helpful for a person to do well in the work.
    But as a matter of fact, in my opinion, higher EQ matters mom than higher IQ, especially in such a rapidly developing society. On one hand, in realistic life, not only do we need to exhibit our own knowledge but also we need to have the abilities to cooperate with others. Because humans are social men, we have to be interrelated and interact on each other all the time. On the other hand, a mountain of facts have demonstrated the importance of EQ either in the work, in the studies, or in the lives. For example, a person with high IQ but low EQ may lack respect and ability to communicate with others in an effective way, thus, he or she may not be welcome. While a person with high EQ, though not so clever, he or she may be welcome.
    In a word, EQ plays a more important role in our daily life. To be successful, we should foster our EQ along with improving the IQ.
