答案     An Eye-witness Account of a Traffic Accident
    At about 7:00 in the morning of May 8 on my way to school, I witnessed a traffic accident.
    That morning I went to school by bike as usual, and suddenly I was startled by a screech of a car. 1 saw the car stopped in the middle of the street and a man lying in a pool of blood. I ran to the spot and more and more people gathered there. Someone called the police. Soon the police and the ambulance arrived. The victim was instantly sent to hospital and the driver was taken away.
    As for me. there are two possible reasons for the traffic accident. The first reason is that the pedestrian may walk across the street, paying no attention to the traffic light. The second reason is that the driver may drive too fast. Maybe they want to save time, but do remember, "More haste, less speed. " After all, life is the most precious.
