    Nowadays,people are confronted with a serious problem: insufficient food safety. There are many cases of poor quality foods and food chemicals in the market. This has done great harm to the health of the general people, especially the infants, young children and the old. There are many horrible cases in point, including Sanlu milk powder, industrialized yoghurt processing, and agricultural chemical, etc.
    How can we solve this problem of food safety? Firstly, our government should take some measures to make strict laws to regulate these food producers. Once they break the law, they will face severe punishment. Secondly, food producers should be responsible for the consumers and for our society. They can’ t seek profits at the cost of people’ s lives. They should be aware that long-term prosperity of their products requires sound quality and good reputation.
    As for my personal opinion, the consumers should improve their awareness of food safety in our daily life. Food safety will not be achieved until all of us take an active part in the effort.
