Which of the following statements about the British shoppers is CORRECT? [br]
(14)Queuing patiently is once considered a typical British trait, but it would seem that they are no longer willing to wait in line because they are so bored to queue in a shop. Sometimes they only discover that the shop has run out of what they want to buy. (15) 2 minutes is the longest time many British consumers are prepared to queue today, which is considered to be 5 minutes six years ago. A survey has discovered that two fifths of the British refuse to queue for longer than two minutes and 51 percent of shoppers even refuse to enter a store if they spy a queue. Many shops shift position of paying places in order to make queues appear shorter, but the situation has not been changed by doing this. Why has the British become so impatient? (16)The Internet, which allows shoppers to buy the most of goods with just a click of the mouse is the main reason. (16) Customers nowadays have been used to buying without delay. (16) Longer working hour per day has also meant that the British employees have lost the art of queuing. (16) They even abandon purchases rather than wait their turn if an item they are buying is of low value. (17) Thus shop retailers should find more innovative ways to deliver good customer service to promote sales.
