问题     Rarely do you get to see a movie that promises a lot and then lives up to its promise. The King’s Speech is a【C1】______piece, indeed.
The movie【C2】______ with a stammering speech and signs off with a staggering one, with hardly any faults 【C3】______ . The basic premise of the movie is fairly simple. A king with a stutter is helped by a speech therapist to 【C4】______ his problem and become an 【C5】______ speaker. That sounds like a well known【C6】______ to most movie goers.【C7】______ few minutes into the movie, and you realize that this one is quite touching.
It is a very pleasing movie, 【C8】______ leading the audience into a lot of uncomfortable questions. However, the artistry【C9】______ the overall balance of the movie. You slowly start getting【C10】______ by David Seidler’s screenplay. The actors are【C11】______, taking it slow and steady with superb grip on each of their characters. Humor comes in here and there, at a very easy 【C12】______and steady pace. Not for a single moment do you【C13】______ the movie as dull.
Most of the movie had been filmed 【C14】______, though with eloquent art direction. But the【C15】______sequences shot outside had been filmed very beautifully,【C16】______ a very dreamy picture of the【C17】______ England. Sometimes, the camera goes in too close to the characters, and stays there for a while, just long enough to give us a sense of suffocation, quite an artistic equivalent of a speech disorder! But then again, 【C18】______shades are whitewashed with joyous ones and you never perceive it as a dark movie. This is the kind of movie that you want to give a lot of【C19】______to the director. And Mr. Hooper【C20】______ the bullseye! Perfect balance.
All points considered, it’s a brilliant movie and a must watch. [br] 【C9】
