Man: Oh Mary, it is just been one of those days...terrible.
Woman: What is the matter, honey?
Man: Everybody at the office is sick, the work keeps piling up, uh... I am getting blamed for it.
Woman: Oh, well come on, it can not be as bad as all that.
Man: Well, it is, yeah. I can’t take much more of it. I, I mean it keeps getting worse. I have got to do something about it.
Woman: Oh, well, maybe there is another way to look at it, like.-- look at it this way. If you hired a temporary typist, now wouldn’t that take some of the pressure off you?
Man: What is the point of hiring a temporary typist? The typist we got already should be able to handle...no, it is other problems. The typing is not the problem.
Woman: Well, when we talked about this last week you thought a typist might help.
Man: Well that was last week. Now, I don’t know, I couldn’t care less.
Woman: Now, why don’t you sit right down here, and I’ll go get dinner and put it on the table.
