M: Hello, South City Reading Club.
W: Oh, hi. Er...I want to find out about joining the club.
M: Right. I can help you there. I’m the club secretary and my name is Jim Hunter.
   W: Oh, hi Jim.
M: Are you interested in membership for yourself?
   W: That’s right.
M: OK. Well, there are basically two types of adult membership. If you’re pretty keen on reading classics, there’s the Full Membership. That costs 180 dollars and covers all the expenses for the whole year.
   W: What will be included?
M: All the activities arranged by the club, such as speeches from some popular writers, and free access to the most lately published books and journals.
W: Well, I’m not really up to that standard. I mean I don’t have much spare time to join so many activities.
M: In that case, I recommend Recreational Membership. That’s 120 dollars if you’re over 16, and 60 dollars if you’re under. It’s paid quarterly, and you can upgrade it later to the Full Membership if you want to, of course.
W: And now both types of membership include the club fee of 20 dollars, right?
M: Yes, and they also provide insurance in case you have an accident inside our establishment, though we hope you won’t need that, of course.
W: OK, well, I’ll go with the Recreational Membership. And that allows me to join in some of the club activities, and so on?
M: That’s right. And once you’re a member of the club, you’re also permitted to take out 10 books per week from our borrowed list.
W: I am happy to hear that because I do need to read some books with my children. Do you have many children’s books?
M: We have lots of classic ones such as The Adventure of Tom Sawyer as well as modern ones such as Harry Potter series. And we invite teachers of literature to share their thoughts about these books now and then.
W: Sounds fine with me. I guess it is a really good way of improving our reading skills. Are these activities usually during the daytime?
M: Yes. Most are arranged on weekends so that everybody can drop in. And a few are morning sessions.
W: Is there a schedule for the regular activities of this club?
M: Yes. You can visit our website and get all the information you need.
W: One more thing, is there a free parking lot around your club?
M: I’m afraid not. But if you come over early on weekends to join the morning session, you can park your car 1,000 meters away from our building. The parking spots are just outside our Municipal Museum. They are totally free.
W: I get that. Thank you for your information.
