答案     The figures and the charts show teen’s texting habits in America, including their preference, the contents, frequency of sending pictures and texting location.
71% of American teens prefer texting instead of calling. Over half of them control their daily calling time under 30 minutes, while 45% of teens send at least 30 texts a day. Besides, 54% of teens text just for a chat. As for the frequency of sending pictures, 51% send a few every month and nearly a quarter never do this. What’s more, 28% of teens text at home. Teens sending texts while surfing the internet, riding in a car and sitting in class account for 18% , 17% and 14% respectively.
From above, apparently, American teens prefer texting to calling. They often text to kill time. Also, picture sending is a minority choice. And home is their primary texting location.
