You don’t have to pay high prices for air travel any more. There are lots of alternatives to regular, full-priced plane tickets if you can plan far enough ahead. Here are a few of the options.
"No extra" airlines charge very low prices for most flights. These airlines offer the same services as other airlines, but you sometimes have to pay extra for them. For example, you may have to pay for any food or drinks you have on the plane, and you may have to pay extra if you check baggage instead of carrying it on the plane.
Seats on charter (包租) flights are usually sold as part of a package deal with hotel accommodations. You can get great prices on these charter flights, but occasionally you have to spend long hours waiting in airport because charter airlines often own only one or two planes, and one late flight means that all flights are late.
Regular airlines may offer special rates if you book your flights in advance and fly on certain days of the week when they don’t expect to have full planes. These special prices are called "super savers", and you have to ask for them when you call the airline. If you make any changes in your travel plans after you buy the ticket, you may have to pay a penalty (罚金). [br] According to the third paragraph, we know that characteristics of charter airlines do not include that ______.
选项
A、they are sold together with hotel accommodation
B、they are part of a package deal
C、they own only one or two planes
D、they cost more than regular airlines
答案
D
解析
文章第三段描述了charter airlines的特点。A、B在第一句可以找到依据,C也叙述。而D与事实不符。因为租机的价格是低于一般航机的,这正是文章介绍的内容。
