Actually, there is a lot of medicine to take, and you can do it naturally, you say?
M: Absolutely.
W: Now 1 thought this was fantastic about local honey. What does it do to your body?
M: It’s sort of like nature’s allergy shots. (20) If you just take a small little bit on a daily base, and then gradually build up, it helps your body build up tolerance to the allergies. But make sure you use the local honey.
W: OK. Tell me about this.
M: This is a supplement but it’s from food like berries (浆果类), apples, onions, garlic.
W: And this is proved to help with the allergies?
M: Absolutely. It actually reduces the swelling, the congestion (充血)... all the things that you get from your allergies. It’s a nature’s way of doing that.
W: OK. So, blueberries, apples, eat a lot of these.
M: (21) And remember to cook with onions and garlic. It does a lot of help.
W: And sea-salt.
M: Yes. you mix the salt with warm water and then you just drain it through one side of your nose. And the water runs through your nose and then it’s out from the other side into the sink.
W: Yeah, (22)do it over a sink. You can teach kids as young as three-year-old to do it.
