答案
Should Parents Accompany Their Children Studying?
Nowadays, many students study far away from their home, pursuing better education or preparing for certain examinations. At the same time, more and more parents rent houses near their children’s schools,so as to accompany them studying.
Some people hold that students can concentrate on their study if parents cope with their daily affairs such as cooking and washing, thus the advantages stand out. On the contrary, other people insist that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. In the first place,in the company of parents, the students can’t develop their abilities of solving problems independently. In the second place, the students may be put under more intense pressure as their parents devote all their energies to them with great hope for the students’ success. Moreover, with regard to rent and ordinary expenditure, the parents may be confronted with economic difficulties since they must go without jobs.
As far as I am concerned, although parents’ company may help students with their daily lives, it brings more disadvantages to both the students and their parents. Therefore,I hold no brief for parents accompanying their children studying.
