Many countries need to do more to offer education and training for people of all ages. So says a new report from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris. "Education at a Glance 2005" looks at the thirty【B1】______countries.
The report says the number of people being educated【B2】______to increase. But it says there is still a【B3】______of training for adults who need it the most.
The O. E. C. D. report notes great【B4】______in school performance in some countries. For example, ninety-seven percent of South Koreans born in the 1970s have【B5】______upper secondary education. This【B6】______to thirty-two percent of those born in the 1940s.

The report says O. E. C. D. countries spend an average of 7,000 dollars per student per year. Switzerland and the United States spend the most on education, more than 11,000 dollars. The report says Austria, Belgium, Finland, Japan, the Netherlands and New Zealand spend moderately. Yet their fifteen-year-olds are among the top students of【B11】______of the countries compared in the report. [br] 【B11】
