For instance, those with a good sense of social responsibility always pay attention to protecting the environment when they travel. On the contrary, those who lack a sense of social responsibility always put their needs first instead of public environment. For another, the sense of social responsibility is beneficial to our social cohesion. For example, after the Wenchuan Earthquake in May, 2008, a large number of volunteers with a sense of social responsibility devoted themselves to the relief and reconstruction work in the disaster-affected areas, thereby helping the disaster-hit people overcome the difficulties successfully.
