W: Yes you did. It’s seat 32C on the aisle.
M: Miss, this is my first flight. I wonder if you could show me the ropes?
W: Don’t be embarrassed! Every one has to make their first flight sometime. I’d be glad to. That’s what we are here for.
M: Thanks, I don’t even know how to find my seat.
W: They are all numbered. Just go straight back and another stewardess will show you where to sit and how to fasten your safety belt.
M: And then ...?
W: Then listen to the intercom for further instructions.
M: Thank you.
W: Don’t mention it. I’ll come back later to see that you are OK.
M: Thanks again.
(A few minutes later)
W: Hello there. How are you doing?
M: Fine so far, but my ears feel a little funny.

W: Yes, but not until after we have served dinner.

M: Just water please.
W: Would you like to see a magazine?
M: Yes, I like to look at Newsweek please and could you tell me where to find the restroom?
