答案                A Letter to the Management of the University
Dear Sir or Madam,
    I am a freshman who was just admired by the university. I hope to apply for the government student loan in order to pay for my tuition fee and the cost of living.
    I am from a needy family. Both my parents are laid-off workers. Living on welfare, they have no extra money for my higher education. In addition, they have to support my two sisters and grandparents. And my grandmother is suffering from diabetes which is a very costly disease. Now my family is already in heavy debt and I don’ t want to add more burden to my poor parents. So I need the government student loan to help me to finish my college education.
    I have the confidence to refund the loan. First of all, I am a trustworthy person who can always be trusted. I had borrowed some money from my friends in the past and I have repaid it by doing some odd jobs. Furthermore,  I am thrifty enough in life. I believe in the Chinese saying which goes that thrift is a virtue. Above all, I am honest and hardworking. I am quite sure that I will get in on the ground floor and come to the top both academically  and socially.
