Dear fellow students,
    It is a great honor for me to stand here and run for the position of chairman of the student union. I am a sophomore from the Chinese Department. I believe I am well qualified for the post.
    To begin with, I’m equipped with good communication and organizing capabilities.  During my l two years’ serving as monitor of my class, we were twice awarded Model Class. It has won me general popularity among my classmates. In addition, I am amiable and easy-going. This pleasant personality is believed to be indispensable when it comes to teamwork. Beyond that, I have a great variety of hobbies from sports to music, which enables me to sympathize with most students.
    If elected, I would make every effort to fulfill my task.  The student union will open more channels for students to voice their needs and views. Besides, sports games as well as art festivals will be held to enrich the campus life.
    Vote for me and you will get a student union of you, for you and by you in a real sense.     Thank you!
