    It is apparently depicted in the cartoon given above that several pedestrians are walking across the street when a policeman is reminding them of red traffic light. Indeed, the phenomenon reflected on the picture happens every day in life.
    The picture mirrors that many people developed a bad habit of crossing streets without looking at the traffic lights. Maybe the following reasons are responsible for this habit. Firstly, some people from countryside don’t know how to judge the traffic lights when they just come to cities and have no idea about traffic rules. Secondly, some people living in cities know the road rules clearly, but they lack traffic safety awareness and break the rules purposely. Thirdly, some people are so hurry that they don’t want to wait for the green light especially when noticing that other people are jaywalking without punishment.
    However, jaywalking has brought danger to themselves and to others. In my view, everyone should learn traffic rules, enhance traffic safety awareness, and those who breaks traffic rules should punished. Only in this way can we cross streets safely.
