The TV programme that I watch the most is called South Park. It is an American animated programme for adults—certainly not for kids! There’s too much violence and swearing in it. The series follows the adventures of four 8-year old boys in the small town of South Park in Colorado. The things that happen in the series are almost always completely crazy, but are always related to real-life situations. The programme has been very controversial, because it makes jokes about anything and everything—particularly people from different countries, including America, and people with various political and religious beliefs. Two of the boys are quite normal, but the other two are very special. One dies in many of the episodes, only to return in the next episode. The other boy is extremely selfish, materialistic and bigoted. However, he is extremely funny! There are numerous other characters in the series. Some appear in most of the episodes, like the boys’ parents and teachers, whilst others only appear once in a while. The series has been running for 11 years now and looks like continuing, since it is very popular and the writers say that they still have plenty of ideas.
