Tell me about your parents.
You should say:
what they do at work and in their free time something about their characters
how they are similar and how they are different
and say how similar to your parents you think you are.
You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.
You will have one minute to think about what you’re going to say.
You can make some notes to help you if you wish.

My father is a civil servant. He started his career right at the bottom as a clerk, but now he is one of the top two or three people in the district. He deals with budgetary issues. My mother works as a music teacher. She mainly teaches piano, but she also teaches a few violin classes. She is an accomplished player, but never wanted to play in an orchestra for some reason. Both of them are quite tall, so that explains my own height. They are both slim and have quite fair skin, which is a little unusual in my district. My father enjoys reading in his free time, or socialising with friends. There are often visitors at our house. My mother, luckily, enjoys cooking, so there is always something nice and tasty for guests when they call. Sometimes I wonder if they call to see my parents or to taste my mother’s cooking. My parents used to go to the theatre a lot, but when the theatre in our town closed down, they ... well, they don’t go so often now. Perhaps once a month, they go to Rome, usually to see a play or an opera. They are both outgoing people and very thoughtful. Sometimes, when people ask them questions, it takes them a few seconds to come up with a response. People who don’t know them often wonder if they actually understood the question, but it’s just that they think very carefully before answering.
