答案 Transport
- How did you come here today?
I came here by bus today; it took me about 30 minutes.
- What is public transport like in your town?
I think the public transport is good in my city. The bus system is well developed and the city is now building subway, which is much quicker than buses.
- How do you think it could be improved?
I think the traffic jam during peak hours is pretty bad in my city. So I hope the government can build more roads to alleviate the congestion.
- Do you think people should use public transport more? Why or why not?
Of course, I encourage people to use public transport because it is much more environmentally friendly than driving or taking a taxi; secondly, more people using public transport is a good way to avoid traffic jam.
Shopping
- How much time do you spend shopping every week?
It’s hard to say. Before online shopping becomes popular, I used to shop one or two tunes in shopping malls with my friends each month; but now I can shop online, so I shop more frequently than before.
- Do you enjoy going shopping? Why or why not?
Yes, I do enjoy shopping because I like buying new things... even if I just go window shopping, I will be happy accompanying my friends shopping. I also like trying on new clothes and checking out what’s new out there.
- What is your favourite shop and why do you like it?
I like shopping in a mall because there are many different shops and brands there, and I can buy things one-stop without walking a long distance. My favourite shop is Zara because its clothes are fashionable and affordable to me.
- What problems are there with shopping in your area?
Well, I don’t think there are many problems with shopping in my area. If I have to identify a problem, it’s probably there are too many people shopping during weekends...
