Mr. James Smith is a successful businessman. He’s from my hometown and he now owns two groups of industries, and the products lines of his companies are famous in our country.
Since he’s from the same town where I spent my childhood and teenage time, I’ve heard a lot about him and I’ve already interviewed him as well for a few times. He’s such an affable and intelligent person that I always had a nice time interviewing him.
As for how he became successful, from my interviews with him and the information that I’d heard from others, I learned that he was the son of an outstanding local businessman and he inherited his father’s electronic industry many years back then. But that was just the start. Over time, he exerted himself to build his empire in the local business market, like recruiting talented people, investing in creative local companies and introducing advanced technology from abroad. And lately, he was dubbed as one of "the best business entrepreneurs" in the country. So you can see, from the local electronic business he’d inherited from his father, he gradually and successfully amassed a fortune and became one of the enviable businessmen in the country.
Everyone agrees that he’s an upright, conscientious and wise person who knew when to take a risk. His timely decision, investment in promising sectors and hard work have rewarded him well and his industries have provided the opportunity for others to earn their daily bread. Therefore, I think of him as a successful man.
