答案 　　My recent visit to Spain was wonderful and I had a chance to take part in a very popular public event in the country. It was the Cadiz Carnival which has a long and checkered history. It was first celebrated in the 16th century. Nowadays, through the carnival, people hope to get rid of the most pressing problems of today. In fact, it was one of the most wonderful carnivals I’d ever been to.
　　I work for a multinational car manufacturing company and it wants to expand its existing business in Spain. So, I was sent there to set up the right strategies at the beginning of this year. I stayed there for two weeks and the carnival didn’t begin until the last week of my stay. It was troublesome for me to attend all the days because I also had to finish my duties assigned by the main office. All in all, I enjoyed the event and also joined in some of the popular activities.
　　Although I went to Spain with a team of experts, they were too busy to enjoy the event. So, for most of the time, I had to wander alone. The street was flooded with people, mainly Spanish, of course, with their shouts of joy and cheer. They were very passionate and warm-hearted people. If I told the guy who stood next to me that I was a foreigner, all I knew was I would receive a very warm welcome. And friendliness is part of the reason why I still remember this festival.
　　I’ve visited some other countries before but I haven’t found an interesting public event like this one. I enjoyed the musical performances immensely. The performers were outstanding. The carnival costumes were exceptionally exquisite and the face painting was novel to me too. It’s definitely a must-see for those who travel in Spain.
