During my visit to the UK, I attended a music festival where I did really get carried away. I went there by accident actually. I was roaming the London city with a friend at that time and I noticed that a few famous singers would be joining in the festival, so I decided to go.
It was May 13th when I was in London to call on my friend and attend the festival. I’m a great enthusiast of music and I love music festivals. So I’m glad that I didn’t miss my chance. The festival was said to last for three days, from May 12th to 14th, and it was held at the second Hampton Street.
There were some solo performances by young and promising singers at the festival. It was an open field, so people could stand and listen to the music or wander around to mingle with others. The emcee told a great deal about the history of England’s music And since there were many foreigners, he also introduced the songs and singers in details. I have never taken part in the event for a second time, but I think these are the common things to do at the festival.
I like the festival because it left a really good impression on me. At that time, the event was a completely new experience for me especially when I was in a foreign land. The cool breeze, the people with fashionable dresses, and the music and singers took my heart away. I was deeply touched by the local songs. And when I saw one of my favourite singers on the stage, I got ecstatic. So, I like this event.
